"Everyone then who hears these words of mine and acts on them will be like a wise
man who built his house on rock. The rain fell, the floods came, and the winds blew
and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on rock."
Jesus, being a carpenter, used the story of constructing a house to demonstrate how
important it was to build a deep, substantial foundation so that when the strong
every effort to offer our children a strong faith foundation so that when the rains
and storms of life are upon them, their house of faith will not fall away. It will
stand strong and give them strength and shelter.
K through 5th Grade: Lessons for these younger children are taught using the
curriculum Rock Solid. With classrooms for each age level, children are invited to a
faith experience that gives them a better understanding of God and what God calls
them to do and be. They come to know Jesus as the Son of God and they find where
the Bible speaks to them today. Activities, crafts, stories, and games contribute to
this faith experience.
Middle School Youth (Grades 6-8): This class currently uses Talk Sheets to
develop conversations that make Life-to-Bible topical applications meaningful. Kids
are encouraged to use Scripture and the teachings of Jesus to help them make wise
decisions in everyday situations.
Senior Youth: Living In Christ (LinC) and Coffee Break with God are two
resources used in this Sunday School class. Again, topical and relevant discussions
are promoted by stories and experiences that help our older youth identify and
value the turning points in their Christian lives.
Our teachers are a wonderful group of loving adults who make possible these
opportunities of faithful Christian growth for our children. Several of our
teachers have been in their respective classrooms as many as 8-10 years! Come see
what they offer!
